Anatomy of a cartoon

Not that anyone really cares, but here's what happens.

It all starts with an idea: Something I hear, something someone says, maybe something idea someone else has (yes, I'm an idea stealer), or maybe it's just because my mind wanders so much.

Next we have have the rough draw. Often drawing an idea can be difficult.
I start with the words, then draw the picture to help illustrate the idea.
Next, we have the first draw, sometimes I will just free hand everything just to check if the idea is still funny, or if it is just funny because I am tired. Finally, I take some time in trying to draw, so that the cartoon looks like it wasn't drawn by a two year old, though I must say, I think for the most part I fail.

I'd be happy to take any ideas that anyone has; however, the only reimbursement you would get is a "thank you" and a digital pat on the back.

KODOL! Man... Such perfect blackmail material and you ruined it! You're supposed to dig yourself into a hole with it, not display it for the whole world to see!

LOL -- Nice post, BTW :-)
